| Examinations and Evaluations of Studies |
The university arranges examinations as outlined below:

Examination Centers |
The university has set up examination centers in all provinces, with each province having at least one examination center. Most centers are located at regional universities and provincial schools which serve as the universitys local study centers. Students living in the provinces can take examinations in the provinces in which they live or are residing temporarily. Inmates in correctional institutions, those who by virtue of their good behavior have been granted permission by the Corrections Department to register as students, may take their examinations in their respective institutions. The university also provides STOU students residing abroad with the opportunity to sit examinations at local Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate. |
Examination Schedule |
The university does not wish to see students miss work or temporarily discard their official duties in order to take examinations. For this reason, examinations as organized to take place on weekend and are designed so that they can completed within two days. |
Examination Supervisors |
In organizing the supervision of examination, the university seeks to make maximum use of existing community resources. Therefore, local study center personnel who are not students of the university assist in serving as supervisors at examination centers in additionto university officials and academic staff. |
Examination System |
The university academic year applies a two-semester structure, and examinations are held twice each semester, once for the final examinations and once for the make-up examinations for those students who failed or missed the final examination. In addition, the university organizes a special semester during which students are able to optionally register for one course where final examinations are held at the same time as the make-up examination for the second semester. |
Notification of Examination Results |
Approximately 30-45 days after each examination, the Office of Registration,
Records, and Evaluation will mail students a list of examination results. Students may also seek details of their results through the following:
