On 1 September 2011, STOU welcomed a teacher and 24 students from Yunnan Radio and TV University, located in the People’s
Republic of China. The International Affairs Unit, Office of Continuing Education, and School of Liberal Arts planned a three-month
program of Thai language and culture instruction. Unfortunately the visit was cut short by the threat of flooding at STOU, but the
delegation from YNRTVU was still able to spend almost two months in the country getting to know Thai language and STOU.
After being welcomed at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the students were brought to STOU. The first day of the program featured an
orientation session for the delegation and a welcome dinner.
