On 13 June 2014, Associate Professor Dr. Vipa Jaroenpuntaruk, Vice-President for Information Technology at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, presided over an opening ceremony for the STOU Ubiquitous Library, which aims to present a new online public access catalog library system (OPAC) to be called “Chamo”. This system will be used to search the online library catalog through Web 2.0 and social networks, and via smart devices, as well as to share information through social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
