On 9-10 February 2016, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boonsri Prommapun, Vice-President for University Assets of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saneh Juito, Director of the Office of Continuing Education, joined other fourteen universities in presiding over the opening ceremony of a co-host of the 6th International Conference on Arts and Culture in Creative Economy.

The conference has been organized every year under the collaboration of partner universities and this year’s event was hosted by Nakornsawan Rajabhat University in Nakornsawan. The success of previous conferences proved a strong bond of the arts and culture network among higher education institutions. Consequently, the members of the Network have established “Arts and Cultures University Network of Thailand” and collaborated for the same goal which is to develop the arts and culture works for the benefit of society. The collaboration of the network aims to continuously preserve the arts and culture, creating the organizational culture, the diverse types of arts and culture works through the exchange of experiences, and the knowledge creation responding to the demand of the society.
