On 14 May 2014, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University administrators led by Associate Professor Dr. Vipa Jaroenpuntaruk, Vice-President for Information Technology, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Monwipa Wongrujira, Assistant to the President, and Mrs. Rattip Phukkeson, Acting Head of International Affairs, welcomed the 7 delegates from the Ministry of Education and Sports, Laos led by Associate Professor Dr. Somkiat Phasy, Director General of ICT Center for Education and Sports, on the occasion of their visit to Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University to exchange information and experiences on the topic “Distance Learning and E-Learning”.

In addition to a special lecture entitled “STOU E-Learning” by Associate Professor Dr. Vipa Jaroenpuntaruk the delegation also observed STOU printing operations and toured the university press, STOU E-Learning Center and Educational Broadcasting Production Center.
