STOU Academic Support for IMLF2016 in Bangkok



Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) provided academic support for the 3rd International Mobile Learning Festival (IMLF2016), held during 27-28 May 2016 at Grande Centre Point Terminal 21 in Bangkok. This conference was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniel Churchill from Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong.

IMLF2016 provided an engaging forum for addressing issues, ideas and developments on mobile and emerging learning design for 21st century learning through keynote speeches, paper presentations and other sessions under the theme “Mobile Learning, Emerging Learning Design and Learning 2.0”. 

This year, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai, M.D., President of STOU and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ninnat Olanvoravuth, Secretary-General of ASAHIL were invited to preside over the opening ceremony of IMLF2016. Moreover, Dr. Gan Chanyawudhiwan, faculty member of the Office of Educational Technology, Mr. Witoon Wong A-Mart, Acting Head and Mrs. Nongluck Matvangsaeng, senior graphic designer from e-Learning Center, and Mrs. Rattip Phukkeson, Acting Head of International Affairs represented STOU in facilitating with the arrangement for the conference.



The conference was a great success. All activities were highly beneficial to the participants, an excellent opportunity for exchanging perspectives and experiences as well as for networking with education policy makers, teachers, academics and experts from all over the world.
