STOU and SEAMOLEC Hold Joint Training





Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University and SEAMEO Regional Open Learning Centre (SEAMOLEC) conducted a joint face to face training on “English as a Foreign Language Teachers’ Capacity Building: Creating Digital Story through Project Based Learning Model” by Ms. Anti Rismayanti, SEAMOLEC Research and Development Manager, Ms. Finita Dewi, SEAMOLEC Expert and Ms. Aline Almandha, Content Officer from 9 to 11 November 2015 at Computer Training Room I, Service Building I at STOU in Nonthaburi.

This training covered creating a short digital storytelling based on the participants’ context and a simple project plan, and doing a micro teaching in order to foster integrated capacity development for EFL (English as a foreign language) teachers on innovative teaching method, technology literacy as well as English proficiency.

In this regard, Asst. Prof. Dr. Monwipa Wongrujira, Assistant to the President, presided over the closing ceremony and gave certificates to 22 EFL teachers from secondary schools in Bangkok and suburb.
