From 30 January to 1 February 2016, Professor Dr. Sumalee Sungsri from the STOU School of Education and Mrs. Rattip Phukkeson, Acting Head of STOU International Affairs, joined the OU5 meeting, hosted by Universitas Terbuka (UT) at J.W. Marriot Hotel Surabaya in the Republic of Indonesia.  The meeting aimed to promote collaboration regarding Institutional Research, ASEAN Studies Research, and the publication of The ASEAN Journal of Open and Distance Learning (AJODL).
