On 16 May 2016, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai, President of STOU, Asst. Prof. Dr. Monwipa Wongrujira, Assistant to the President, and Mrs. Rattip Phukkeson, Acting Head of International Affairs, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University warmly welcomed Professor Dato’ Dr. Mansor Fadzil, President and Vice-Chancellor, Madam Kamariah Mohd Noor, Vice-President, and Madam Azah Mohamed Aris, Assistant Manager from Open University Malaysia (OUM) for an official visit to Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University on the new appointment as the President of OUM.

After discussing mutual cooperation, the group had an opportunity to visit the operation of the STOU One-Stop Service Center (OSS) where provides access to comprehensive services through a single center as the first point of contact for all inquiries regarding admissions, registration, student activities and other matters, and the STOU Traditional Thai medical clinic, operated by the STOU School of Health Science.

Later, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chalermsak Toomhirun, Director of the Office of Educational Services, gave a special lecture on “Educational Services” and welcomed the delegation to observe the operation of the Office of Educational Services as well as to share and exchange the views and experiences with the STOU staff.
