On 6 June 2016, Asst. Prof. Dr. Monwipa Wongrujira, Assistant to the President, and Mrs. Rattip Phukkeson, Acting Head of International Affairs, warmly welcomed 5 delegates from Polytechnic University of the Philippines Open University (PUP OU), led by Dr. Anna Ruby Gapasin, Executive Director and Dr. Carmencita Castolo, Director of Institute of Open and Distance Education on the occasion of their visit to Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University to acquire further knowledge on the program of Communication Arts for ASEAN.

After discussing on the Master in Communication Program and other possible academic collaboration, led by Assoc. Prof. Chantana Thongprayoon, Deputy Dean of the STOU School of Communication Arts and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamolrat Intaratat, the Chair of the Online International MA in Communication Arts for ASEAN Program, the delegation had an opportunity to visit the King Prajadhipok and Queen Rambhai Barni Documentation Center, the Educational Broadcasting Production Center and the Office of the University Press where they exchanged information and experiences with STOU staff.
