Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University and SEAMEO Regional Open Learning Centre (SEAMOLEC) conducted a joint workshop on “SEA EduNet 2.0: Digital-Age in Teaching and Learning” from 25 to 27 February 2014 at Computer Training Room I in Service Building I at STOU in Bangkok.
This workshop covered learning resources and activities with EDMODO platform, digital book by using Sigil platform, video presentation and video lecturing and online lecturing in order to foster teachers and students to use a new way of teaching and learning by taking the benefit of a Social Learning Network (SLN), and starting to use the digital book (e-book) as one of the learning resources as well as presenting the idea through video lecturing.
In this regard, Asst. Prof. Dr. Monwipa Wongrujira, Assistant to the President, presided over the opening ceremony and gave a welcome speech to Ms. Anti Rismayanti, SEAMOLEC Research and Development Manager, Ms. Finita Dewi, SEAMOLEC Expert and Mr. Prayitno, Seamolec IT Content Officer and over 30 STOU faculty members and staff, participating in this workshop. |
