On 20 May 2015, Assistant Professor Orasa Pankhao, Vice-President for Corporate Communications and International Affairs of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University welcomed the 3 delegates from Malaysian Qualifications Accreditation (MQA), the Ministry of Education in Malaysia led by Nor Alwani Abd Wahab, Assistant Director of Accreditation Division (Social Sciences), together with Ms. Hanisah Amran, Assistant Director of Public and International Affairs Unit, and Ms. Enda Nurwani Ngah Deman, Assistant Director of Standards Division, and the 6 delegates from Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) in Thailand on the occasion of their visit to Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University.

After STOU presented the overview of STOU, all delegates visited the Office of the University Press and the King Prajadhipok and Queen Rambhai Barni Documentation Center, where they exchanged information and experiences with STOU staff. Later, the STOU President, Associate Professor Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai shared them about STOU Quality Assurance.
