On 28 May 2013, STOU participated in a meeting to discuss an ongoing project to create a curriculum for a certificate program for radio and television announcers. The meeting was opened by Mr. Pramote Rathavinij, former President of the Public Relations Department and currently serving as President of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission’s Subcommittee in charge of implementing the certificate program. STOU has been assisting by coordinating production of the necessary study texts and study guides for basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Sripatum University’s Faculty of Communication Arts is assisting by monitoring and evaluating the success of the initial test phase of the project, which has been underway since 2 February 2013.
