On the occasion of Thai Environment Day (4 December 2012), Mr. Thammarong Jaisomkom, Director of the Central Division, led a delegation from STOU to participate in local conservation events. They joined Pak Kret municipality and the Community Network for the Conservation of Bang Phut canal in activities to improve the area surrounding Bang Phut canal and the water itself through organic treatments.
