Counter Service Co., Ltd., a well-known bill payment service in Thailand, has awarded educational grants totaling 40,000 baht to STOU. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jinda Khlibtong, Acting Vice-President for Educational Services, accepted the awards on behalf of the university in a ceremony on 4 February 2013. The grants are a goodwill gesture from Counter Service to STOU in appreciation for partnering with the company to collect university fees from students. 30,000 baht will support 10 scholarships of 3,000 baht each, and an additional 10,000 baht was given to support university activities.
