On 17 April 2013, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai, M.D., President of STOU, officially opened an ASEAN language camp for children of STOU personnel. The camp is being held until the 30th at STOU, and features instruction in English, Chinese and Khmer, languages that will become more prominent in the region as Thailand prepares for the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015.
