On 5 March 2012, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai, M.D., President of STOU, led a meeting with university personnel, in which he explained his vision for the future of the university. Focusing on the central role of university staff, he emphasized that their two main tools in progressing as a world-class open university are ICT and language, as part of the “I-DU” (ICT-Driven University) strategy. After presenting this vision, Dr. Chailerd answered questions from audience about the future of various STOU operations and initiatives.
