During 16–17 May 2013, the University Council of STOU and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai, President of STOU, joined three other University Councils for a joint meeting to exchange views and suggestions on council affairs. The joint session provided opportunities to consider the past year and discuss potential operating procedures for the year ahead. On 16 May, a presentation titled “Universities through the Looking Glass of Governance” was delivered by Ms. Adriana Jaramillo, a senior expert from the World Bank. In the afternoon session, there was a special presentation on monitoring and evaluation of policies for finance and property management, administrative policy and evaluating operations of the University Council. The closing summary on 17 May was led by Prof. Dr. Wichit Srisa-an, the founder of STOU and current Chairman of the Thepsatri Rajabhat University Council.
