13.3 Present Perfect
รูปคำกริยา present perfect คือ has/have + past participle ถ้อยคำสำนวนบอกเวลา เช่น
- recently - just
- already - since
- yet - for เป็นต้น
13.3.1 ใช้กับเหตุการณ์หรือการกระทำที่เกิดขึ้นในอดีต
และยังดำเนินต่อมาหรือมีผลสืบเนื่องถึงในปัจจุบัน
The server has been down for three hours; we cannot do anything now.
เซิร์ฟเวอร์ล่ม(ใช้การไม่ได้)มาสามชั่วโมงแล้ว เราไม่สามารถทำอะไรได้เลยตอนนี้
Noi has just received her bachelor degree in English.
น้อยเพิ่งได้รับปริญญาตรีแขนงวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ
13.2.2
ใช้กับเหตุการณ์หรือการกระทำที่เพิ่งเกิดขึ้นและจบสิ้นลง
The storm has just passed by the Gulf of Thailand.
พายุเพิ่งจะพัดผ่านอ่าวไทย

13.3.3 การใช้ present perfect เปรียบเทียบกับ past simple
Present prefect ใช้เมื่อกล่าวถึงเหตุการณ์ที่ไม่ระบุเวลาอย่างชัดเจน เช่น
I’ve been to Lao several times.
Past simple ใช้เมื่อระบุเวลาอย่างชัดเจน
I was in Chengdu when there was an earthquake.
13.3.4 การใช้คำบอกเวลาใน present perfect
1) since และ for
since ใช้กับจุดเริ่มต้นของเวลา
- Noi has studied fashion design in Paris since last January. She plans to finish
her studies this year.
- Noi’s aunt has been in Paris since 2001. She has never been back to Thailand.
- Noi has decided to become a fashion designer since she met Ann.
for ใช้กับระยะเวลา
- Noi has studied fashion design in Paris for 2 years. This year she’s going to graduate.
2) already, yet และ just
already หมายถึง เสร็จแล้วหรือเสร็จก่อนเวลาที่กำหนด เช่น
- Noi has already bought the plane ticket to Paris before she knew the result
of her application.
น้อยซื้อตั๋วเครื่องบินแล้วก่อนที่จะทราบผลการสมัครเรียนเสียอีก
yet หมายถึง ยังไม่ถึง ยังไม่ได้ทำ
- Noi has not packed her things for her trip to Paris yet.
น้อยยังไม่ได้จัดกระเป๋าไปปารีสเลย
just หมายถึง เพิ่งจะ
- Noi has just received her reply from the fashion institute.
น้อยเพิ่งจะได้รับคำตอบรับจากสถาบันสอนแฟชั่น
