การเขียนประวัติของสถานที่ว่าเคยเป็นเช่นไรในอดีต ใช้คำกริยารูป past simple หากกล่าวถึงเหตุการณ์ที่มีผลสืบเนื่องถึงปัจจุบันใช้ present perfect และกล่าวถึงเหตุการณ์ที่เป็นจริงในปัจจุบันหรือข้อเท็จจริงใช้ present tense
