2.8.2.2  การใช้   noun clause /adverbial clause/relative clause
เนื่องจากการอภิปรายผลการวิจัยเป็นการนำเสนอความคิดที่ซับซ้อน เกี่ยวพันต่อเนื่อง  ลักษณะประโยคที่ใช้จึงมักมีความซับซ้อน มีความยาวเนื่องจากมีส่วนขยายต่าง ๆ  เช่นการใช้ noun clause/adverbial clause/relative clause

1. โครงสร้างประโยคที่ใช้ noun clause

                Main clause + that + noun clause

2. โครงสร้างประโยคที่ใช้ adverbial clause

adverbial clause ที่ใช้ขยายความอาจสังเกตได้จากคำหรือกลุ่มคำต่าง ๆ เช่น
clause markers ที่บอกเวลา  เช่น after, as, by the time, when, until, since, once
clause markers ที่บอกความแย้ง  เช่น although, despite, even if, whereas, except that
clause markers ที่บอกเหตุผล  เช่น as, because, in case, so
clause markers ที่บอกวัตถุประสงค์  เช่น so, so that, in order that
clause markers ที่บอกกริยาอาการ  เช่น as, as if, as though
clause markers ที่บอกสถานที่  เช่น where, wherever,
clause markers ที่บอกเงื่อนไข เช่น  if, even if, only if, provided, unless
