       2.4 Introduction (ความนำ)

 

2.4.1 ความสำคัญ

ความนำเป็นการให้บริบทแก่บทความ ในลักษณะทั่วไป กล่าวถึงความเชื่อมโยงของบทความในศาสตร์ นั้น ๆ  กล่าวถึงสถานะของปัญหาวิจัยหรือประเด็นสำคัญที่ต้องการนำเสนอ  ทางเลือกที่บทความนำเสนอ  เป็นการเชื้อเชิญให้ผู้อ่านอยากจะอ่าน  ให้ข้อมูลความเป็นมาระบุหัวข้อ ประวัติ กำหนดประเด็นปัญหา คำนำที่ดีทำให้ผู้อ่านสนใจและมุ่งไปสู่ข้อความที่กำหนดแก่นของบทความ (thesis statement)

                การเขียนความนำมีองค์ประกอบที่สำคัญดังนี้

1. บอกความเป็นมาของงานวิจัย
2. บอกสิ่งที่ยังขาดแคลนในสาขาวิชานั้น ๆ
3. สรุปย่องานวิจัยปัจจุบันของผู้เขียนบทความ (the present study) เชื่อมโยงกับจุดที่ขาดแคลน
4. ความสำคัญของงานวิจัยปัจจุบัน

การเขียนส่วนคำนำโดยละเอียด

Researchers have begun demonstrating sociocultural differences, including ethnic and immigration group membership, in the effects of parenting on adolescent outcomes (Chao, 1994, 2001; Chen, Dong, & Zhoo, 1997; Dornbusch, Ritter, Leiderman, Roberts, & Farleigh, 1987; Steinberg, Lamborn, Dirnbusch, & Darling, 1992).

 

To further explain possible ethnic and socio-cultural differences in the effects of parental control on adolescent outcomes, this study, in the same vein as Mason et al. (2004), considers adolescents’ effective interpretations regarding both behavioral and psychological control.

There is little research examining specific affective interpretations of parental control across ethnic groups, especially among Asian American youth.

Specially, this study first examines whether there are differences in the effects of behavioral and psychological control between European Americans and three ethnic groups of Asian Immigrants (Chinese, Koreans, and Filipinos).

 

Ultimately, this study examines whether adolescents’ feelings of anger may moderate the relationship between parental control and adolescents’ behavioral adjustment for European American and each Asian immigrant group.
