STOU Welcomed the Delegation from the OUC

On 4-6 June 2019, Professor Dr. Prasart Suebka, Acting President of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) and Associate Professor Dr. Krisana Rungrojwanich, Acting Vice-President for Research, Innovation and International Affairs warmly welcomed Professor Chen Liu, Vice President of OUC, Professor Qingchun Guo, Director of the Experimental School, Dr. Jipeng Zheng, Deputy Dean of the School of Language and Culture, Dr. Wei Li, Deputy Director of the Institute of ODL, and Ms. Na Chen, Project Manager of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department for an official visit to STOU.

The purpose of this visit were to discuss further collaboration in academic exchanges, joint seminars and conferences, and Chinese language teaching, and to follow up the development of the STOU book in the World’s Open Universities Case Studies Book Series, as well as exchange information and experiences on degree and non-degree distance education. The delegates had an opportunity to visit STOU Regional Distance Education Center in Phetchaburi Province.
