STOU joined SEAMEO CDM Networking Session

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somporn Puttapithakporn, Acting Vice-President for University Council Affairs, Documentation and Information and International Affairs of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU), joined the CDM Networking Session with partners on 15 July 2020 at 14.00-16.30 hrs.

The virtual Networking Session was conducted with its aims to develop and strengthen partnership and explore possible areas for collaboration between SEAMEO Regional Centres and global/regional partners. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somporn Puttapithakporn delivered a presentation at the session regarding future collaboration between STOU and SEAMEO.

STOU and SEAMEO SEAMOLEC signed an MOU in March 2019. As a result, a training program on “Digital Learning Media Development” is scheduled in March 2021, as the first activity to be carried out under the MOU. The program will be joined by 30-40 faculty members and staff of STOU.

Additionally, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University is currently the representative of Thailand for SEAMEO SEAMOLEC Governing Board Meeting.

STOU looks forward to collaborative projects with SEAMEO and SEAMEO SEAMOLEC in order to strengthen the open and distance education for all learners.
