KNOU enjoyed the Student Exchange Program in Thailand
Dr. Ryu Su Noh, President of Korea National Open University (KNOU) led the team of faculty, staff and students on their trip to Thailand for the Student Cultural Exchange Program during 22-25 October 2019.
On 20-24 October, the KNOU delegates joined the Volunteer Spirit Association and worked on Homestay activities and teaching program at Wat Klongkone School, where they learnt about the mangrove forest and the brackish water ecosystem, as well as visited and learnt how to produce sugar from coconut, and watched the fireflies in the nearby area. A group of STOU students and staff participated in the program in order to return the hospitality which they had received during the Student Cultural Exchange Program to KNOU earlier in March.
On 25 October, KNOU delegates visited the STOU main campus in Nonthaburi.
The group was warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Thapanat Prom-In, Acting Vice-President for Academic Services and Community Engagement and the administrators from the Office of Continuing Education. The KNOU delegates also had the opportunity to take
a campus tour to the Educational Broadcasting Production Center and the main library.
