Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Vietnam visited STOU

On 27 November 2019, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) welcomed a group of 35 administrators of Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU), Vietnam. The visit was aimed to explore innovative strategies of STOU at present time and in the future, learn about mechanisms to promote quality distance learning, research and innovation for digital society, and e-learning development.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somporn Puttapithakporn, STOU Vice-President for University Council Affairs, Documentation and Information and International Affairs honored the event with a welcome speech and a presentation on “Education Reform at STOU.” The presentation was followed by a briefing on “Research and Innovation for Digital Society” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Gan Chanyawudhiwan, and “e-Learning Development” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanathnuth Chatpakkarattana.
