3.1 ตัวอย่างการอธิบายโมเดลที่ได้จากการศึกษาวิจัย

The qualities of being autonomous distance language learners are central to the learning process; they are the internal qualities within learners themselves such as willingness to accept responsibility in learning, awareness of the learning process, initiative and creative use of strategies; and some of the specific qualities emerged in this study covering self-diagnosis, self-reliance, self-management, being persistent, and self-monitoring/preparation. Utilising these qualities, distance language learners employ learning strategies, either cognitive, metacognitive, or socio-affective, to interact with self-instructional materials, and other elements in distance learning such as tutorials and problem solving within the context of distance language learning. The learning occurs when learners interact with self-instructional materials, in tutorials, or in solving problems. How learners interact with learning (at a distance), tutorials, and problem solving also suggests the degree of learner autonomy within the learners themselves.
