Ten senior undergraduate students enrolled in an ELT Department at a Turkish university participated in this study. The students in this university are expected to have a minimum score of 213 on the computerized TOEFL with 4.5 in the writing section, or 7 on the IELTS, or C on the University’s English proficiency test. Thus, the participants were considered to be advanced-level learners since they had all fulfilled the University’s language requirement.
Three of the participants were male and seven were female; their age ranged between 21-24. All of the participants reported using the Internet more than 10 h a week except for one participant who reported 4 h a week.
